SRMIST and Volvo Group Launch First University Vehicle Tech Centre

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) has partnered with Volvo Group CSR Trust India to establish the auto giant's first university-based vehicle technology centre in Kattankulathur. This collaboration aims to integrate global industrial expertise into engineering education, fostering experiential learning and innovation in automotive technologies. The initiative stems from a Memorandum of Understanding previously signed between SRMIST's Career Centre and Volvo Group India. The centre is designed to develop future-ready talent in sustainable mobility and advanced automotive technologies.

एसआरएम इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (एसआरएमआईएसटी) ने वोल्वो ग्रुप सीएसआर ट्रस्ट इंडिया के साथ मिलकर कट्टनकुलथुर में ऑटो दिग्गज का पहला यूनिवर्सिटी-आधारित वाहन प्रौद्योगिकी केंद्र स्थापित किया है। इस सहयोग का उद्देश्य इंजीनियरिंग शिक्षा में वैश्विक औद्योगिक विशेषज्ञता को एकीकृत करना, ऑटोमोटिव प्रौद्योगिकियों में अनुभवात्मक सीखने और नवाचार को बढ़ावा देना है। यह पहल एसआरएमआईएसटी के करियर सेंटर और वोल्वो ग्रुप इंडिया के बीच पहले हस्ताक्षरित समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) से उपजी है। यह केंद्र सस्टेनेबल मोबिलिटी और एडवांस्ड ऑटोमोटिव टेक्नोलॉजीज में भविष्य के लिए तैयार प्रतिभा विकसित करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है।
