Airbnb and the Ministry of Tourism have signed a two-year Memorandum of Understanding to boost India's homestay ecosystem. This collaboration aims to empower local entrepreneurs and drive tourism-led economic growth in emerging destinations. Airbnb will serve as a capacity-building and digital onboarding partner, offering host workshops and training resources. The partnership will also jointly identify and implement specific programmes and destinations to promote lesser-known areas. This initiative seeks to encourage travellers to explore authentic experiences beyond traditional tourist hotspots.

और पर्यटन मंत्रालय ने भारत के होमस्टे इकोसिस्टम को बढ़ावा देने के लिए दो साल के समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। इस सहयोग का लक्ष्य स्थानीय उद्यमियों को सशक्त बनाना और उभरते गंतव्यों में पर्यटन-आधारित आर्थिक विकास को बढ़ावा देना है। Airbnb क्षमता-निर्माण और डिजिटल ऑनबोर्डिंग भागीदार के रूप में काम करेगा, जो होस्ट कार्यशालाएं और प्रशिक्षण संसाधन प्रदान करेगा। यह साझेदारी कम ज्ञात क्षेत्रों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विशिष्ट कार्यक्रमों और गंतव्यों की पहचान और कार्यान्वयन भी करेगी। इस पहल का उद्देश्य यात्रियों को पारंपरिक पर्यटक हॉटस्पॉट से परे प्रामाणिक अनुभवों का पता लगाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना है।
