The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is enhancing security measures across its premises following a hoax bomb threat email received on Monday evening. The threat targeted the Mayor's office and a Metro station. Security teams conducted searches but found no suspicious items. In response, the PMC has implemented stricter vehicle and baggage inspections, and will maintain round-the-clock security at the Mayor's office. These new protocols aim to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure the safety of the thousands of visitors and employees who frequent the civic body's facilities daily.

पुणे म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन (PMC) ने सोमवार शाम को बम की झूठी धमकी वाला ईमेल मिलने के बाद अपने सभी परिसरों में सुरक्षा उपाय कड़े कर दिए हैं। इस धमकी में मेयर के कार्यालय और एक मेट्रो स्टेशन को निशाना बनाया गया था। सुरक्षा टीमों ने तलाशी ली लेकिन कोई संदिग्ध वस्तु नहीं मिली। इसके जवाब में, PMC ने वाहनों और सामानों की जांच कड़ी कर दी है, और मेयर के कार्यालय में चौबीसों घंटे सुरक्षा बनाए रखेगी। इन नए प्रोटोकॉल का उद्देश्य किसी भी अप्रिय घटना को रोकना और नागरिक निकाय की सुविधाओं में प्रतिदिन आने वाले हजारों आगंतुकों और कर्मचारियों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना है।
