The Karnataka High Court has quashed criminal proceedings against five individuals accused of illegally preparing allotment letters for BDA sites. Justice M. Nagaprasanna noted there was no victim of forgery and no forged document was executed. The court also observed that seized documents were not sent for forensic examination. The BDA had alleged site allotment letters were found with a movie producer, but the court found no evidence of a transaction or victim, thus quashing the charge-sheet.

कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट ने बी.डी.ए. साइटों के लिए अवैध रूप से आवंटन पत्र तैयार करने के आरोपी पांच व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ आपराधिक कार्यवाही रद्द कर दी है। जस्टिस एम. नागप्रसन्ना ने कहा कि जालसाजी का कोई पीड़ित नहीं था और कोई जाली दस्तावेज़ निष्पादित नहीं किया गया था। अदालत ने यह भी देखा कि जब्त किए गए दस्तावेज़ों को फोरेंसिक जांच के लिए नहीं भेजा गया था। बी.डी.ए. ने आरोप लगाया था कि एक फिल्म निर्माता के पास साइट आवंटन पत्र मिले थे, लेकिन अदालत को किसी लेन-देन या पीड़ित का कोई सबूत नहीं मिला, इसलिए चार्जशीट रद्द कर दी गई।
