Times of India · entertainment

Production for 'The Royals 2' is undergoing a significant reset with new directors Mitakshara Kumar and Nitya Mehra taking over from Jasmeet K Reen. Reen reportedly stepped away after shooting for five days, with her footage now being redone by Kumar in Jaipur. The show's team is working on a revised script and resuming the shoot to complete daily schedules while managing budgets. This marks a full-scale production overhaul rather than a simple directorial change, aiming to address issues with pacing and guidance during the initial filming days.
