A massive 240-wheel trailer carrying a 110-ft-long reactor from Belgium has arrived in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, concluding a six-month journey across four states. The reactor is crucial for India's first integrated sugar-to-bioplastic plant, which will produce biodegradable Polylactic Acid (PLA). The complex transportation involved extensive route surveys, police escorts, and coordination with various departments to overcome obstacles. The plant, a ₹3,080-crore project, is expected to begin operations next month, offering a sustainable alternative to conventional plastics.

बेल्जियम से 110 फुट लंबे रिएक्टर को ले जाने वाला 240 पहियों वाला एक विशाल ट्रेलर चार राज्यों में छह महीने की यात्रा पूरी कर उत्तर प्रदेश के लखीमपुर खीरी पहुंचा है। यह रिएक्टर भारत के पहले एकीकृत शुगर-टू-बायोप्लास्टिक प्लांट के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है, जो बायोडिग्रेडेबल पॉलीलैक्टिक एसिड (PLA) का उत्पादन करेगा। इस जटिल परिवहन में बाधाओं को दूर करने के लिए विस्तृत मार्ग सर्वेक्षण, पुलिस एस्कॉर्ट और विभिन्न विभागों के साथ समन्वय शामिल था। ₹3,080 करोड़ की यह परियोजना अगले महीने चालू होने की उम्मीद है, जो पारंपरिक प्लास्टिक का एक टिकाऊ विकल्प प्रदान करेगी।
