Dengue Risk Persists Post-Monsoon; Experts Advise Prevention and Recovery Tips
TV9 Hindi · health
Despite the monsoon season ending, the threat of mosquito-borne diseases like dengue remains due to stagnant water and humidity, creating breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Experts emphasize that early dengue symptoms, including sudden high fever, severe headache, eye pain, muscle and joint pain, nausea, vomiting, and skin rashes, should not be ignored. Prompt medical attention is crucial if symptoms like persistent abdominal pain, continuous vomiting, bleeding, rapid breathing, or clammy skin occur, even after fever subsides. Prevention involves eliminating stagnant water, covering water containers, wearing protective clothing, and using mosquito repellents.
