Community health officers (CHOs) across Uttar Pradesh are continuing their sit-in protest in Lucknow, demanding regularisation, a separate cadre, and revised pay. The Association of Community Health Officers, Uttar Pradesh (ACHOUP) stated that talks with the principal secretary of medical health and family welfare have failed to reach an agreement. Their demands include written orders for regularisation and pay scales equivalent to Haryana's structure.
