Keralam Govt to Launch Apprenticeship Scheme for Arts, Science, Commerce Students

The Keralam government is set to introduce the Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) to boost employability and practical skills for final-semester higher education students. This initiative, launched from the current academic year, will allow undergraduate students in arts, science, and commerce to gain six months of industrial training alongside their studies. Participants will receive a monthly stipend, with ₹10,900 designated for undergraduates and ₹9,600 for diploma holders. The program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.

केरल सरकार अंतिम सेमेस्टर के उच्च शिक्षा छात्रों की रोजगार क्षमता और व्यावहारिक कौशल को बढ़ावा देने के लिए अप्रेंटिसशिप एम्बेडेड डिग्री प्रोग्राम (AEDP) शुरू करने जा रही है। इस शैक्षणिक वर्ष से शुरू की गई यह पहल कला, विज्ञान और वाणिज्य के स्नातक छात्रों को उनकी पढ़ाई के साथ-साथ छह महीने का औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करने की अनुमति देगी। प्रतिभागियों को मासिक वजीफा मिलेगा, जिसमें स्नातक छात्रों के लिए ₹10,900 और डिप्लोमा धारकों के लिए ₹9,600 निर्धारित है। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य अकादमिक सीखने और उद्योग की आवश्यकताओं के बीच की खाई को पाटना है।
