Delhi Food Safety Dept Seizes Over 322 Kg Ghee During Festive Discount Store Checks

Delhi's food safety department has seized over 322 kg of ghee from stores offering steep discounts and 'Buy One, Get One Free' deals ahead of the festive season. Inspections were conducted at multiple shops, including Maxcart Store and Aggarwal Store, where enforcement samples of ghee and other food items were collected. The seized ghee, totaling more than 75.50 litres, was found in various brands. The department is assessing the samples alongside laboratory reports before taking further action.

त्योहारी सीज़न से पहले भारी छूट और 'एक खरीदें, एक मुफ़्त पाएं' डील देने वाले स्टोरों से दिल्ली के खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग ने 322 किलो से ज़्यादा घी जब्त किया है। Maxcart Store और Aggarwal Store समेत कई दुकानों पर जांच की गई, जहाँ घी और अन्य खाद्य पदार्थों के नमूने लिए गए। कुल 75.50 लीटर से ज़्यादा जब्त किए गए घी में कई ब्रांड शामिल थे। विभाग आगे की कार्रवाई से पहले नमूनों का मूल्यांकन प्रयोगशाला रिपोर्ट के साथ कर रहा है।
