Kanpur to Get High-Tech Fire Headquarters

Kanpur's 1958-built, dilapidated fire headquarters in Fazalganj is set to be replaced by a modern, multi-storey facility costing over ₹40 crore. This new hub will function as a central command center, integrating GPS monitoring and advanced technology to manage firefighting operations across the city. The aim is to significantly reduce response times and improve initial fire containment. The facility will also incorporate robotic systems for navigating narrow streets and specialized equipment for industrial fires, enhancing safety for both citizens and firefighters.

कानपुर को मिलेगा हाई-टेक फायर हेडक्वार्टर

कानपुर के फ़ज़लगंज में 1958 का जर्जर फायर हेडक्वार्टर अब बदलेगा। 40 करोड़ से ज़्यादा की लागत से एक नई, आधुनिक मल्टी-स्टोरी बिल्डिंग बनेगी। यह शहर के फायर ऑपरेशन के लिए सेंट्रल कमांड सेंटर का काम करेगी, जिसमें GPS मॉनिटरिंग और नई टेक्नोलॉजी होगी। इससे आग बुझाने में लगने वाला समय कम होगा और आग पर काबू पाना आसान होगा। इसमें संकरी गलियों के लिए रोबोटिक सिस्टम और इंडस्ट्रियल फायर के लिए खास इक्विपमेंट भी होंगे।
