Indian Seafarers Face Danger: 78 Vessels Attacked Near Hormuz

Since the West Asia war began on February 28, 78 vessels with Indian seafarers have been attacked near the Strait of Hormuz. Out of these, four were Indian-flagged vessels. Currently, 139 Indian seafarers are in the Strait of Hormuz, with eight vessels of Indian interest inside. A total of 16 Indian seafarers have died in attacks on commercial vessels, including 11 in the Strait of Hormuz and five in the Black Sea. International stakeholders have flagged the rising threat in international waters.
