Delhi Pollution: MCD Gets Deadline To Clean Roads

CAQM has given the MCD to clear roads, footpaths, and open areas of accumulated dust, garbage, and debris. This directive comes amid rising air pollution in the Delhi-NCR region. CAQM has warned of prosecution for agencies and officials found negligent in implementing dust control measures. A review meeting was held following an inspection that revealed significant dust and construction debris on roads maintained by the Public Works Department and cleaned by MCD.

CAQM ने एमसीडी को सड़कें, फुटपाथ और खुले इलाकों से जमा धूल, कूड़ा और मलबा साफ करने का समय दिया है। यह निर्देश दिल्ली-एनसीआर क्षेत्र में बढ़ते वायु प्रदूषण के बीच आया है। CAQM ने धूल नियंत्रण उपायों को लागू करने में लापरवाही बरतने वाले एजेंसियों और अधिकारियों के खिलाफ मुकदमा चलाने की चेतावनी दी है। पब्लिक वर्क्स डिपार्टमेंट द्वारा बनाए गए और एमसीडी द्वारा साफ किए गए सड़कों पर धूल और निर्माण मलबे की महत्वपूर्ण मात्रा का पता चलने के बाद एक समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की गई थी।
