Former US President Donald Trump has lauded his wife, Melania Trump, for her role in securing a localised ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. Trump described his wife as being 'better than professionals' for her efforts. The specific location where this localised ceasefire was achieved is Oleshky. This event marks a notable instance of a private citizen, particularly a former First Lady, playing a role in international conflict resolution, even on a limited scale.
