A medical shop owner in Surat has been arrested for allegedly selling an animal feed supplement as a tonic for children. The accused reportedly used large cans of Himalaya Liv.52 Protec Liquid Veterinary Feed Supplement, which is intended for animals. He then transferred this liquid into smaller 60 ml and 100 ml bottles for sale. This fraudulent practice put the health of young consumers at significant risk by misrepresenting a product meant for livestock as a safe and effective children's health supplement.
