Kashmir, Himachal See Early Snowfall; October Cold Intensifies

Parts of Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh have experienced snowfall in October, bringing an early chill. Higher reaches in Doda, Poonch, Gulmarg, and Pir Panjal are now covered in snow. Similarly, Manali, Dharamshala, and Lahaul-Spiti have seen a significant weather change. The snowfall has disrupted traffic on several routes, including Mughal Road and the Manali-Leh highway. Authorities are advising tourists to exercise caution and avoid non-essential travel. Despite the disruptions, tourists visiting Gulmarg and Manali for the snow are reportedly delighted.

कश्मीर और हिमाचल प्रदेश के कुछ हिस्सों में अक्टूबर में बर्फ़बारी हुई है, जिससे जल्दी ठंड आ गई है। डोडा, पुंछ, गुलमर्ग और पीर पंजाल के ऊपरी इलाकों में अब बर्फ़ जम गई है। इसी तरह, मनाली, धर्मशाला और लाहौल-स्पीति में मौसम में बड़ा बदलाव आया है। बर्फ़बारी ने मुगल रोड और मनाली-लेह हाईवे सहित कई रास्तों पर यातायात बाधित कर दिया है। अधिकारी पर्यटकों को सावधानी बरतने और गैर-ज़रूरी यात्रा से बचने की सलाह दे रहे हैं। हालाँकि, गुलमर्ग और मनाली में बर्फ़ देखने आए पर्यटकों के खुश होने की ख़बर है।
