Delhi Police Register FIR Against Congress MPs Over Jamia University Campus Entry

Jamia Millia Islamia University has filed a complaint with Delhi Police against Congress MPs Imran Masood and Imran Pratapgarhi. They are accused of entering the campus without permission and creating unrest during a student protest demanding the restoration of student union elections. The university cited security reasons for shifting classes online and closing campus gates and the library. Teachers attempted to persuade protesting students, who have been on hunger strike for 13 days, to end their demonstration. The Students' Federation of India alleged police detained students and forcibly removed protesters.

जामिया मिलिया इस्लामिया यूनिवर्सिटी ने दिल्ली पुलिस में कांग्रेस सांसदों इमरान मसूद और इमरान प्रतापगढ़ी के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। उन पर बिना इजाजत कैंपस में घुसने और छात्र संघ चुनाव बहाली की मांग कर रहे छात्रों के विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान अशांति फैलाने का आरोप है। यूनिवर्सिटी ने सुरक्षा कारणों का हवाला देते हुए ऑनलाइन कक्षाएं चलाने और कैंपस के गेट व लाइब्रेरी बंद करने की बात कही। शिक्षकों ने भूख हड़ताल पर बैठे छात्रों को, जो 13 दिनों से धरने पर थे, प्रदर्शन खत्म करने के लिए मनाने की कोशिश की। स्टूडेंट्स फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया ने आरोप लगाया कि पुलिस ने छात्रों को हिरासत में लिया और प्रदर्शनकारियों को जबरन हटाया।
