Ex-MLA Naresh Meena Alleges Political Killing

Former legislator Naresh Meena was released from Tonk jail on Wednesday after securing bail from the Rajasthan High Court. Jailed for slapping an SDM during a bypoll, Meena alleged a conspiracy by political rivals to "kill him politically" using legal technicalities. He spent 45 days in jail before his release. Meena expressed faith in the judiciary and stated his focus is now on the 2028 elections.

पूर्व विधायक नरेश मीणा को राजस्थान हाई कोर्ट से जमानत मिलने के बाद बुधवार को टोंक जेल से रिहा कर दिया गया। उपचुनाव के दौरान एक एसडीएम को थप्पड़ मारने के आरोप में जेल गए मीणा ने कहा कि उनके राजनीतिक विरोधियों ने कानूनी दांव-पेंच का इस्तेमाल कर उन्हें "राजनीतिक रूप से खत्म" करने की साजिश रची थी। जेल में 45 दिन बिताने के बाद उनकी रिहाई हुई। मीणा ने न्यायपालिका पर भरोसा जताया और कहा कि अब उनका ध्यान 2028 के चुनावों पर है।
