Two Youths Taken Into Custody After Attacking Private Bus in Mukkam

Mukkam police have taken two youths into custody for allegedly intercepting and attacking a private bus at Poolappoyil on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred on the Edavanna-Koyilandy State highway when the youths, reportedly inebriated, attempted to stop the bus. After the driver did not stop, they pursued the bus on a motorcycle, blocked its path, smashed the door, and assaulted the driver and passengers. Local residents and bus staff intervened and held the youths until the police arrived.
