Student leaders in Odisha are campaigning on campus issues like poor library lighting, leaking classrooms, and substandard hostel food ahead of the student union elections. Candidates are promising to address student grievances, including safety concerns for women and the need for a foot overbridge at Rama Devi Women's University. Issues like waterlogging, internet access, and vacant teaching posts are also being raised at various institutions. Over 7,000 candidates are in the fray across 348 colleges and universities.
