IIT Bombay Recruits 30 Counsellors After Student Death

IIT Bombay has opened applications for 30 ad hoc counsellor positions at its Student Wellness Centre, including 26 student counsellors and four senior counsellors. The recruitment follows the recent death of a BTech student, which led to campus protests. Eligible candidates with Master's degrees and relevant experience can apply online via Google Form until October 17, 2026. Selected candidates may start as early as October 15, 2026, with monthly remuneration varying by post and engagement type.
