तेलंगाना में गणेश प्रतिमा विसर्जन के दौरान 13 लोगों की जान चली गई और 26 घायल हो गए। मरने वालों में एक पुलिस सब-इंस्पेक्टर भी शामिल थे। डीजीपी सी.वी. आनंद ने बताया कि अलग-अलग घटनाओं में ये लोग हताहत हुए। इस साल राज्य में करीब 3.5 से 4 लाख गणेश प्रतिमाएं स्थापित की गई थीं। पुलिस ने भीड़ प्रबंधन और सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतजाम किए थे।
