Mother, Daughter Die As Fire Engulfs Baghpat Shop And House

A 38-year-old woman and her five-year-old daughter died after a fire engulfed a grocery shop and an adjacent house in Baghpat's Khekra market on Thursday morning. The blaze, suspected to be caused by a short circuit, spread rapidly after two LPG cylinders stored inside the shop exploded. The woman's husband and at least two others sustained serious injuries and are receiving treatment. Police and fire department teams responded quickly to control the fire and conduct rescue operations. The district magistrate has ordered a detailed investigation into the incident.

गुरुवार की सुबह बागपत के खेकड़ा बाजार में एक किराने की दुकान और उससे सटे घर में आग लगने से 38 वर्षीय महिला और उसकी पांच साल की बेटी की मौत हो गई। आग लगने का कारण शॉर्ट सर्किट माना जा रहा है, जो दुकान के अंदर रखे दो LPG सिलेंडर फटने के बाद तेजी से फैल गई। महिला का पति और कम से कम दो अन्य लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए हैं और उनका इलाज चल रहा है। पुलिस और दमकल विभाग की टीमों ने आग पर काबू पाने और बचाव अभियान चलाने के लिए तुरंत प्रतिक्रिया दी। जिला मजिस्ट्रेट ने घटना की विस्तृत जांच के आदेश दिए हैं।
