ED Raids 13 Locations in Tender Fraud Case Involving Suspended IAS Officer

ED conducted searches at 13 locations across Tripura, West Bengal, and Maharashtra as part of an investigation into an alleged ₹14.55 crore government tender fraud. The fraud involved a fictitious entity, Directorate of Higher Education, and a suspended IAS officer, Abhishek Chandra, who allegedly posed as an authority. The case originated from a complaint by M/s SK Sales Corporation, which was defrauded of earnest money deposits for tenders that were never issued.
