ECI Orders Searchable PDF Voter Rolls For Political Parties

The Election Commission of India has directed electoral registration officers to provide recognised political parties with hard copies and searchable PDF versions of draft and final electoral rolls. This directive, issued on October 15, applies to the Special Summary Revision in 17 states and Union Territories. Officials must also share lists of additions, deletions, and modifications to help parties track changes.

चुनाव आयोग (ECI) ने चुनावी पंजीकरण अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है कि वे मान्यता प्राप्त राजनीतिक दलों को मसौदा और अंतिम मतदाता सूची की हार्ड कॉपी और सर्च करने योग्य पीडीएफ (PDF) संस्करण प्रदान करें। यह निर्देश, जो 15 अक्टूबर को जारी किया गया था, 17 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में विशेष सारांश संशोधन पर लागू होता है। अधिकारियों को पार्टियों को बदलावों पर नज़र रखने में मदद करने के लिए अतिरिक्त, हटाए गए और संशोधित नामों की सूची भी साझा करनी होगी।
