EOU Raids Transport Dept SI Amit Kumar Gupta's Premises in Disproportionate Assets Case

The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) conducted raids on Wednesday at properties linked to Amit Kumar Gupta, an enforcement sub-inspector in the transport department posted in Bhabhua. The raids are part of an alleged disproportionate assets case. Investigators searched Gupta's three-storey house in Ara and simultaneously raided his flat in Patna's Danapur police station area. Heavy police presence was noted at the Ara location during the operation. The EOU had not released an official statement regarding the raids at the time of reporting.

आर्थिक अपराध इकाई (EOU) ने बुधवार को भभुआ में तैनात परिवहन विभाग के प्रवर्तन सब-इंस्पेक्टर अमित कुमार गुप्ता से जुड़ी संपत्तियों पर छापेमारी की। यह छापेमारी आय से ज़्यादा संपत्ति के कथित मामले में की गई है। जांचकर्ताओं ने आरा में गुप्ता के तीन मंजिला घर और साथ ही पटना के दानापुर थाना क्षेत्र में स्थित उनके फ्लैट पर भी छापा मारा। छापेमारी के दौरान आरा में भारी पुलिस बल मौजूद था। खबर लिखे जाने तक EOU ने छापेमारी को लेकर कोई आधिकारिक बयान जारी नहीं किया था।
