A technical glitch in Uttar Pradesh's traffic challan app is causing confusion among vehicle owners. Following an update, the app is reportedly displaying fines ten times higher than the actual penalty, with some Rs 1,000 challans appearing as Rs 10,000. This issue is affecting approximately 5% of challans issued daily. Officials have contacted the NIC to investigate and rectify the data syncing problem. The error could impact a large number of the over 40,000 vehicles challaned daily in the state.

उत्तर प्रदेश के ट्रैफिक चालान ऐप में एक तकनीकी गड़बड़ी से वाहन मालिकों में भ्रम की स्थिति पैदा हो गई है। एक अपडेट के बाद, ऐप कथित तौर पर वास्तविक जुर्माने से दस गुना अधिक जुर्माना दिखा रहा है, जिसमें कुछ 1,000 रुपये के चालान 10,000 रुपये के रूप में दिखाई दे रहे हैं। यह समस्या प्रतिदिन जारी किए जाने वाले लगभग 5% चालानों को प्रभावित कर रही है। अधिकारियों ने डेटा सिंकिंग समस्या की जांच और उसे ठीक करने के लिए NIC से संपर्क किया है। यह त्रुटि राज्य में प्रतिदिन 40,000 से अधिक चालान किए जाने वाले वाहनों की एक बड़ी संख्या को प्रभावित कर सकती है।
