Ethiopia's army reported killing at least 272 Tigrayan fighters in a counter-offensive in the Amhara region, with 260 others wounded and some captured. The army stated government forces inflicted heavy losses after TPLF and allies attacked areas in North Wollo, bordering Tigray.
