This initiative aims to ensure transparent and court-proof hiring processes for eligible candidates. The government also announced plans for 9,000 new police posts, addressing the state's lower police-to-population ratio compared to the national average. Additionally, appointment letters were distributed to 10,236 constables, and pending sub-inspector appointments will be completed soon.

पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने 8 मई 2027 तक एक लाख पारदर्शी, मेरिट-आधारित सरकारी नौकरी की भर्तियों को पूरा करने का लक्ष्य रखा है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य योग्य उम्मीदवारों के लिए पारदर्शी और कोर्ट-प्रूफ भर्ती प्रक्रिया सुनिश्चित करना है। सरकार ने 9,000 नई पुलिस पोस्ट की योजना की भी घोषणा की, जो राष्ट्रीय औसत की तुलना में राज्य के कम पुलिस-से-जनसंख्या अनुपात को संबोधित करती है। इसके अतिरिक्त, 10,236 कांस्टेबलों को नियुक्ति पत्र वितरित किए गए, और लंबित सब-इंस्पेक्टर नियुक्तियां जल्द ही पूरी की जाएंगी।
