New details have emerged regarding the deaths of Malaika Chitre and Navam Kaul on a New York City subway platform. Sources indicate the friends were seen hugging and kissing shortly before the incident. Kaul reportedly lost his balance and fell onto the tracks, prompting Chitre to descend to help him. CCTV footage captured them on the tracks before the train arrived. Investigators are not treating the incident as a double suicide.
