Civil Judge Aspirant Quits Prestigious Job To Become Jain Nun

Prakharshree Jain, a 26-year-old from Madhya Pradesh's Betul, has decided to forgo a career as a civil judge after passing the judicial service exam. Instead, she has chosen to embrace a life of austerity and renunciation by taking Jain diksha (initiation) to become a nun. She will be initiated along with four other women. Prakharshree believes that societal service can be achieved through paths other than law, inspired by the teachings of Lord Mahavir.

मध्य प्रदेश के बैतूल की 26 वर्षीय प्रखरश्री जैन ने न्यायिक सेवा परीक्षा पास करने के बाद सिविल जज के तौर पर करियर बनाने का विचार छोड़ दिया है। इसके बजाय, उन्होंने जैन दीक्षा लेकर साध्वी बनने का रास्ता चुना है। वह चार अन्य महिलाओं के साथ दीक्षा लेंगी। प्रखरश्री का मानना है कि भगवान महावीर की शिक्षाओं से प्रेरित होकर, कानून के अलावा भी समाज सेवा के रास्ते हैं।
