Olympic gold medallist Juan Carlos Holgado has lauded the Archery Association of India for its efficient organisation of the Archery Premier League. Holgado, now World Archery's executive director, noted the significant improvement in event delivery, with the AAI handling 90% of tasks compared to 60-70% previously. He praised the league's innovative format, combining recurve and compound archers, and the exciting 15-second shot clock, which adds drama and encourages strategic planning. Holgado believes India's bold approach to launching the league, fixing issues along the way, is a model for other nations.
