Tata Stocks Tumble Amid Listing, Chairman Row

Tata Group stocks experienced a significant decline, with Tata Chemicals falling over 8% and Tata Investment Corporation down more than 3%. This downturn follows the reappointment of N. Chandrasekaran as Tata Sons chairman and a mandated listing. Tata Trusts chairman Noel Tata reportedly called the reappointment illegal and stated the trusts have not agreed to the listing, citing concerns it would destroy the group's character.
