Ratko Mladic, 'Butcher of Bosnia', dies in prison

Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb general known as the 'Butcher of Bosnia', has died in prison in The Hague. Serbian authorities had previously requested his early release to return to his home country, but these requests were ultimately unsuccessful. Mladic was convicted of war crimes and genocide during the Bosnian War.
