CJI Surya Kant Questions Delays in Judicial Process, Calls for Faster Case Resolution

Justice Surya Kant emphasized the need to identify urgent cases more effectively and leverage technology to prevent irreparable harm. He highlighted that high courts are deeply connected to the realities of common people across India.

भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश सूर्यकांत ने न्यायिक प्रक्रिया की गति में सुधार के लिए आत्मनिरीक्षण का आह्वान किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह एक बढ़ती हुई प्रवृत्ति है कि वादी उच्च न्यायालयों में तत्काल सुनवाई के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट का रुख कर रहे हैं। उच्च न्यायालयों की स्वायत्तता का सम्मान करते हुए, उन्होंने सवाल उठाया कि क्या प्रक्रियाओं को अधिक पारदर्शी और अनुमानित बनाया जा सकता है। न्यायमूर्ति सूर्यकांत ने तत्काल मामलों की अधिक प्रभावी ढंग से पहचान करने और अपूरणीय क्षति को रोकने के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी का लाभ उठाने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने इस बात पर प्रकाश डाला कि उच्च न्यायालय पूरे भारत में आम लोगों की वास्तविकताओं से गहराई से जुड़े हुए हैं।
