The Seetsar Balaji Dham in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district has a unique origin story. Villagers, facing severe drought and frequent house fires, prayed to Hanuman for relief. A local devotee, Savanram Maharaj, undertook 41 days of rigorous fasting and penance. Following this, rains returned, and fires ceased, leading to the establishment of the Balaji temple. Today, the temple attracts over 5 lakh devotees annually, with many participating in 'swamani' rituals and community feasts.
