Russia Welcomes India's Ukraine Peace Contribution

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated Russia welcomes India's willingness to contribute to a peaceful resolution of the Ukraine conflict. He noted India's position aligns with Russia's desire for a peaceful end. Peskov also confirmed Russian President Putin will meet Indian PM Modi ahead of the BRICS Summit in New Delhi on September 12-13. Russia will send back Indian citizens lured to fight in Ukraine, with around 24 still engaged on frontlines.

क्रेमलिन के प्रवक्ता दिमित्री पेस्कोव ने कहा कि रूस यूक्रेन संघर्ष के शांतिपूर्ण समाधान में भारत के योगदान का स्वागत करता है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत का रुख रूस की शांतिपूर्ण अंत की इच्छा के अनुरूप है। पेस्कोव ने यह भी पुष्टि की कि रूसी राष्ट्रपति पुतिन 12-13 सितंबर को नई दिल्ली में BRICS शिखर सम्मेलन से पहले भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री मोदी से मिलेंगे।
