India's Car Sales Exceed 5 Lakh Units in October, Mahindra Ranks Third

India's passenger vehicle wholesale sales surpassed 5 lakh units for the first time in October, driven by the festive season, discounts, and GST 2.0 benefits. Maruti Suzuki maintained its top position with a 20% year-on-year sales increase. Tata Motors climbed to second place, selling 73,894 units, narrowly ahead of Mahindra, which sold 73,338 units. Hyundai and Kia also reported significant sales growth, with Kia achieving its highest-ever monthly EV sales.

त्योहारी सीजन, छूट और GST 2.0 के फायदों से प्रेरित होकर, अक्टूबर में भारत में यात्री वाहनों की थोक बिक्री पहली बार 5 लाख यूनिट से अधिक हो गई। मारुति सुजुकी 20% की साल-दर-साल बिक्री वृद्धि के साथ शीर्ष स्थान पर बनी रही। टाटा मोटर्स 73,894 यूनिट बेचकर दूसरे स्थान पर आ गई, जो 73,338 यूनिट बेचने वाले महिंद्रा से थोड़ी आगे है। हुंडई और किआ ने भी बिक्री में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि दर्ज की, जिसमें किआ ने अपनी अब तक की सबसे अधिक मासिक EV बिक्री हासिल की।
