Punjab has completed its SIR of electoral rolls, resulting in the removal of 13.6 lakh voters and the addition of 7.97 lakh new names. The final list, published, shows a total of 2.01 crore voters, including 1.03 crore males, 97.24 lakh females, and 506 third-gender individuals. This extensive revision process involved issuing notices to over 35 lakh voters, with 86,038 found ineligible.
