Delhi's Air Quality Dips Below 300 AQI, GRAP Stage 2 Implemented

Delhi's air quality has deteriorated significantly, with the AQI crossing the 300 mark and reaching 'Very Poor' category for the first time this season. Consequently, authorities have implemented Stage 2 of the GRAP across the NCR. This stage involves stricter measures to control pollution, including enhanced mechanical and vacuum sweeping of roads, and spraying dust suppressants. While certain measures previously in Stage 2 have been moved to Stage 1, the current implementation focuses on intensified pollution control efforts.

दिल्ली की हवा की गुणवत्ता काफी खराब हो गई है। AQI 300 के पार चला गया है और इस सीज़न में पहली बार 'बहुत खराब' श्रेणी में पहुँच गया है। इसके चलते, अधिकारियों ने NCR में GRAP का स्टेज 2 लागू कर दिया है। इस स्टेज में प्रदूषण को कंट्रोल करने के लिए कड़े कदम उठाए गए हैं, जैसे सड़कों की मैकेनिकल और वैक्यूम स्वीपिंग बढ़ाना और धूल दबाने वाले स्प्रे का छिड़काव करना। हालांकि स्टेज 2 के कुछ उपायों को पहले ही स्टेज 1 में डाल दिया गया था, लेकिन अभी लागू किए गए उपायों में प्रदूषण नियंत्रण के प्रयासों को और तेज़ करने पर ज़ोर दिया गया है।
