Human Rights Watch reports that Mali's military and their Russian paramilitary allies, along with opposition armed groups, are committing grave violations of international law against civilians. The report, based on interviews with 30 individuals, details killings, torture, and executions. HRW documented drone attacks by the military that destroyed a health facility and hit a market, killing civilians. Armed groups are also accused of torturing and executing captured soldiers.
