Delhi Food Safety Dept Issues Notices To Bakeries Ahead Of Festive Season

Delhi's Food Safety Department has conducted a special inspection drive targeting bakeries and retail shops across the city ahead of the festive season. The department inspected seven establishments in areas like Greater Kailash II, Connaught Place, and Patparganj, collecting ten food samples for quality and safety assessment. Notices for improvement were recommended for two premises, Honey & Dough in Patparganj and Satguru Agencies in Mayapuri. Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh emphasized the importance of hygiene and adherence to food safety rules during festivals when demand for bakery items increases.

दिल्ली के खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग ने त्योहारी सीजन से पहले शहर भर में बेकरियों और खुदरा दुकानों को लक्षित करते हुए एक विशेष निरीक्षण अभियान चलाया है। विभाग ने ग्रेटर कैलाश II, कनॉट प्लेस और पटपड़गंज जैसे इलाकों में सात प्रतिष्ठानों का निरीक्षण किया और गुणवत्ता और सुरक्षा मूल्यांकन के लिए दस खाद्य नमूने एकत्र किए। पटपड़गंज में हनी एंड डो और मायापुरी में सतगुरु एजेंसीज, दो परिसरों के लिए सुधार के लिए नोटिस की सिफारिश की गई। स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ. पंकज कुमार सिंह ने त्योहारों के दौरान स्वच्छता और खाद्य सुरक्षा नियमों के पालन के महत्व पर जोर दिया जब बेकरी उत्पादों की मांग बढ़ जाती है।
