Punjab's final electoral rolls for all 117 Assembly constituencies have been published, with approximately 13.60 lakh names removed. This reduction is due to permanent relocation, death, or duplicate entries identified during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. The total number of registered electors increased from 1.93 crore in the draft roll to 2.01 crore in the final roll, a net increase of 3.64%. Over 86,000 electors were marked ineligible after extensive verification during the claims and objections period.
