BJP leader V. Muraleedharan has denied allegations of personally collecting funds for party activities during his six-year tenure as State president. He stated he is prepared for any inquiry and that his accounts can be scrutinised if suspicions arise. Muraleedharan's remarks follow an entry in a seized diary allegedly linking him to a ₹3 lakh payout. He highlighted that his election asset declarations since 2009 are publicly available for examination. The MLA also questioned delays in investigating financial transactions involving CMRL and a company linked to Veena Vijayan.

बीजेपी नेता वी. मुरलीधरन ने राज्य अध्यक्ष के तौर पर छह साल के कार्यकाल में पार्टी के लिए व्यक्तिगत रूप से फंड जमा करने के आरोपों को खारिज कर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि वे किसी भी जांच के लिए तैयार हैं और शक होने पर उनके खातों की जांच की जा सकती है। यह बयान एक जब्त की गई डायरी में ₹3 लाख के भुगतान से उन्हें जोड़ने के बाद आया है। उन्होंने बताया कि 2009 से उनकी संपत्ति की घोषणाएं सार्वजनिक हैं।
