Indian shooter Sonam Maskar won a silver medal in the women's 10m air rifle team event at the Asian Games 2026. She expressed immense pride and thanked her family, sponsors, the federation, and the Sports Authority of India for their unwavering support through numerous hardships. Maskar, alongside Elavenil Valarivan and Vidarsa Vinod, secured the medal, marking India's first at the Games. She began shooting in 2019 during college.
