CJI Calls for Judiciary's Introspection on Responsiveness

Chief Justice of India Surya Kant has urged the judiciary, particularly constitutional courts, to introspect on improving their working and making case listing more transparent and predictable. He emphasized that the difference between justice and injustice lies in timely court intervention. Highlighting the crucial role of High Courts across India in protecting rights, the CJI noted a growing tendency of litigants approaching the Supreme Court for urgent listing of High Court matters.
