Stalin Slams Tamil Nadu Govt Over Professor’s Detention

Former Chief Minister M K Stalin and Left leaders have condemned the detention of economist Prof A Kalaiyarasan, accusing the Tamil Nadu government of targeting academics. Kalaiyarasan stated police detained him from his home on October 28 in connection with a fake social media post, treating him like a criminal. Stalin called the detention illegal and accused the government of fascism, questioning if the professor was targeted for exposing inflation or his work on the Dravidian Model. He demanded an inquiry into the incident.
