Ukrainian National Kills One in Poland Abbey

A Ukrainian national has killed one person and injured four others in a knife attack at a Catholic monastery in Jaroslaw, southern Poland. The 31-year-old attacker targeted clergy and worshippers at the 17th-century Benedictine abbey on Thursday morning. Three victims were clergy members and two were laypeople, with two individuals in critical condition. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk vowed the perpetrator would face the full severity of the law.
