मैसूर CESC के चेयरमैन रमेश बंदिसिद्दे गौड़ा ने एजेंसियों को 5 अक्टूबर तक सभी भूमिगत केबल का काम और सड़क की मरम्मत पूरी करने का निर्देश दिया है। यह समय सीमा आगामी दशहरा उत्सव से पहले जनता की सुविधा के लिए तय की गई है। उन्होंने प्रभावित क्षेत्रों की 100% बहाली पर जोर दिया और अधिकारियों को नए काम अस्थायी रूप से रोकने का निर्देश दिया। मलबे को हटाना और सुरक्षा बैरिकेड लगाना भी अनिवार्य है। प्रगति की समीक्षा के लिए 6 अक्टूबर को एक अनुवर्ती बैठक निर्धारित है, जिसमें गैर-अनुपालन एजेंसियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जा सकती है।
