Shiv Sena Leader Shot Dead In Thane

Shiv Sena leader Pradeep Purnekar was shot dead in Thane evening. Purnekar, who was the manpada department chief for the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) faction, was attacked near his office in the Manpanagar area. Masked assailants on a motorcycle fired multiple rounds at him, with two bullets hitting him. He was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Police have launched an investigation to identify the attackers and determine the motive behind the broad daylight murder.

शिवसेना नेता प्रदीप पूर्णेकर की ठाणे में शाम को गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई। प्रदीप पूर्णेकर, जो शिवसेना (उद्धव बालासाहेब ठाकरे) गुट के मनपाड़ा विभाग प्रमुख थे, पर मनपाड़ा इलाके में उनके दफ्तर के पास हमला किया गया। मोटरसाइकिल पर सवार नकाबपोश हमलावरों ने उन पर कई राउंड गोलियां चलाईं, जिनमें से दो गोलियां उन्हें लगीं। उन्हें अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहाँ इलाज के दौरान उन्होंने दम तोड़ दिया। पुलिस ने हमलावरों की पहचान करने और दिनदहाड़े हुई हत्या के पीछे के मकसद का पता लगाने के लिए जांच शुरू कर दी है।
